Zusammenfassung

Eine deutsche Hochschule in Bielefeld sucht eine Forschungsstelle (m/w/d) für 65% Teilzeit. Die Rolle umfasst die Konzeption und Durchführung quantitativer Forschung, sowie die Zusammenarbeit mit einem internationalen Team. Ein Masterabschluss in Gesundheits- oder Sozialwissenschaften ist erforderlich, ebenso wie profunde Kenntnisse quantitativer Methoden. Besondere Werte werden auf Diversität und Gleichstellung gelegt. Qualifikationen

• Mindestens ein Masterabschluss in Gesundheits- oder Sozialwissenschaften erforderlich.
• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der empirischen quantitativen Forschung im Gesundheitsbereich.
• Gute Kenntnisse von quantitativen Methoden und Software.

Aufgaben

• Konzeption und Durchführung quantitativer Forschung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit einem multidisziplinären internationalen Forschungsteam.
• Ergebnisse in internationalen Fachzeitschriften publizieren.

Job Overview

Research Position (m/f/d) – ID: Wiss25477

Start: 01.03.2026 – Part‑time 65 % – Salary: Remuneration level 13 TV‑L – Fixed‑term (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and execute quantitative research, independently and collaboratively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary international research team.
• Publish results in international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Participate in national and international scientific conferences and congresses.
• Further develop AG 3 research agenda.
• Support Working Group 3 in applying for funding.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or comparable) in health or social sciences.
• Proven experience with empirical quantitative research in health sciences/public health, social epidemiology, medical sociology, sociology, gender studies or a related area (e.g. theses or presentations).
• Strong knowledge of quantitative methods (statistical procedures, modelling).
• Proficient in quantitative analysis software (e.g. R, Stata).
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
• Clear analytical thinking and the ability to familiarize oneself with new topics.
• Ability to work independently, in a team and interdisciplinarily.
• Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a demanding environment.
• Willingness to work in an intercultural environment.
• Knowledge of public health and sociological gender concepts.
• Gender and diversity competence.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Good written and spoken German.
• Experience in developing research questionnaires.
• Publication experience or conference contributions.
