Proclinical is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in Northeast Germany. This role focuses on driving sales success, fostering team collaboration, and building strategic relationships with healthcare stakeholders. You will lead a team of Territory Managers and Clinical Services Managers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively promote innovative diabetes care solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to leadership, problem-solving, and improving patient outcomes through effective sales strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and market share within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in diabetes care, including private practices and clinics.
  • Train and coach the sales team on product knowledge, competitive positioning, and effective sales strategies.
  • Ensure field sales activities align with marketing strategies and are conducted professionally.
  • Oversee budget utilization for commercial and training resources.
  • Hire, develop, and retain top sales and clinical talent.
  • Collaborate with corporate and commercial teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the local healthcare system, reimbursement processes, and account management.
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly and within budget.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven sales experience in the medical device or healthcare industry, preferably in diabetes care.
  • Demonstrated success in a sales leadership role with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong relationships with healthcare professionals, particularly endocrinologists, and a solid understanding of the diabetes care landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and data management tools.
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 80% weekly, including overnight stays).
