Your mission

To strengthen our Software Infrastructure team, we are looking for support to help shape and further develop our products and systems.

• You scout, evaluate, and test new hardware, sensors, wireless standards, and software frameworks for our future IoT products
• You conduct feasibility studies and develop prototypes
• Analyze and assessmarket trends and research findings to ensure our technological competitiveness
• You develop firmware for our next-generation IoT products
• Optimize our development processes and introduce new tools
• You collaborate with our software, electronics, and mechanics teams to solve technical challenges

Your profile

• Completed technical degree (computer science, electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable qualification)
• Very good German skills (at least C1) and very good English skills (at least C1)
• Several years of professional experience in embedded/firmwareresearch projects
• Solid knowledge in programming, hardware-related development, software architecture, and cybersecurity
• Basic skills in working with hardware (circuit diagrams, error analysis, measurement series)
• Strong interest and experience with scouting new technologies and IoT trends (especially wireless technologies, bus systems, asset tracking)
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with an eye for the bigger picture
• Since our tasks require a lot of equipment and hardware, you should work on-site in our beautiful office in Leipzig-Plagwitz at least three days per week
