We are looking for a project manager based in Spain for management construction of our renewable energy projects across Europe. This position is part of company acting as IPP (independent power producer).
- Acting as main leader for project from the project’ Owner position (an IPP), synchronizing all stakeholders to successful implementation.
- Overseeing construction phase of the project, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Leading internal and external work interfaces including: contractors, global equipment suppliers, service providers, owner’s engineer, legal teams, development teams, local and ministerial authorities, financial institutions, and more.
- Follow-up and maintenance of project schedule, budgets and cashflow, and identifying improvement possibilities for each
- Analysing key milestones and understanding risks and contractual exposures, elaborating risk mitigation plan and to developing proactive solutions.
- At least 5 years of previous experience in construction project management – a must, 10 years- a significant advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / civil / mechanical engineering or other relevant fields – a must.
- High level of proficiency in all Office applications including Excel – a must
- Fluent Spanish and English – a must.
- Location in Spain- a must.
- Previous experience in the field of renewable energy – a significant advantage
- Experience in working in Owner/Developer position- a significant advantage
- The upcoming project in the portfolio is located in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, and as the role requires frequent site visits, candidates that are within reasonable driving distance or be willing to relocate to the project's proximity are preferred.
- Ability to work either as a direct hire or as a freelancer (invoice-based), depending on candidate preference.
