A specialized legal service company located in Munich is hiring a full-time Operations & Research Associate to identify and process copyright infringements on social media platforms. The role requires strong analytical skills, an intuitive understanding of social media, and a detail-oriented mindset. You will engage in research-heavy tasks while working closely with internal teams to refine detection strategies. A hybrid work environment is available, favoring on-site presence initially.
We are a specialized service company working with lawyers and legal entities to provide copyright infringement protection as a service. We monitor large portfolios of audio, video, image assets, as well as brands, trademarks, and design patents.
While we actively develop AI-based solutions and algorithms, our work relies heavily on human judgment, ideation, and strategy development before automation is applied. The role you are applying for is a key part of that foundation.
We are looking for a full-time Operations & Research Associate (m|w|d) to support our team in identifying and processing copyright infringements across major social media platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of research, analytics, and structured data work. You will work hands‑on with social media content, help discover and evaluate potential infringement cases, and contribute ideas on how detection strategies can be improved before they are automated.
This is not a purely repetitive role. We are explicitly looking for someone who thinks independently, understands context, and applies common sense when deciding what constitutes a relevant case and what does not.
What You Will Do
What We Are Looking For
Previous experience in legal, compliance, media, research, operations, or platform‑related roles is a plus, but not required. What matters most is platform intuition, judgment, and mindset.
Work Environment
If you are highly fluent in social media, enjoy analytical research, and want to work in a fast‑growing, technology‑driven legal services environment, we look forward to hearing from you.
