A leading research organization in Heidelberg is seeking a Programme Officer to support its Courses & Workshops team. The role includes technical assistance for organizing life science meetings, administrative duties, and collaboration with scientific organizers. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in office software, databases, and project management. You will join the Courses & Workshops team as a Programme Officer. The Courses & Workshops Programme funds over 90 courses and conferences attracting more than 12,000 participants every year, making it the largest funder of life science meetings in Europe. EMBO Courses & Workshops are organised by leading scientists in their fields and enjoy excellent added value by providing financial support, assisting organisers with promotion, creating a website with a registration system and abstract submission facilities, and designing a poster.
Reporting to the Head of Courses & Workshops you will provide a range of technical and administrative support for the Programme.
12 months.
Starting salary: Grade 4 (Starting salary 3,705 € or higher depending on experience and qualifications).
