A prestigious university in Berlin is seeking a Program Assistant, Operations to provide administrative support in a dynamic higher education environment. This full-time role involves managing office tasks, assisting with technical issues, and supporting events. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree, strong bilingual abilities, and a minimum of 2 years' administrative experience. A work permit for Germany is required. This is a fixed-term position for two years.

The position of Program Assistant, Operations is a full-time position (40 hrs./week) at NYU Berlin’s facilities located in Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg, Berlin. The position is anchored in a vibrant and diverse professional environment in the context of higher education. The Program Assistant, Operations provides comprehensive administrative and operational support for NYU Berlin’s Operations, Student Life, and Academics teams and manages day-to-day office work. Moreover, the Program Assistant supports staff and lecturers in the use of in-house technology. They work closely with members of the NYU Berlin team to ensure the smooth operation of the site as well as the successful delivery of all programming. This is a 2 years fixed term role.

About NYU BerlinNYU Berlin is one of NYU's global study-away sites and provides US and other international students with the opportunity to spend a semester studying in Berlin while earning credits towards their degree. The program is fully integrated into NYU's curriculum and designed for BA students in the social sciences, arts and humanities who want to earn credit in their major - including art, art history, drama, environmental studies, European studies, German, history, math, music, psychology, and sociology - while having a transformative experience abroad. Most courses are taught in English. Seminars and lectures take place at the academic center located in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg and at NYU Berlin's art and drama studio in Berlin- Kreuzberg. The program size is 120 students per semester, as well as various January Term and Summer Schools.
