Job description
Tasks
- Production and assembly of riveted joints and assemblies according to construction documents and drawings
- Production of components in accordance with applicable aviation standards
- Preparation of the workplace: viewing drawings, setting up components, providing production equipment
- Positioning and fixing of structural components
- Execution and documentation of assembly work
- Application of surface protection, e.g. rivet head cover and sealing of seams
- Work in accordance with aviation quality and safety specifications
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic, mechatronics technician, or carpenter
- Several years of experience in manufacturing / production and structural assembly
- Confident handling of technical drawings and production instructions
- Proficient German skills (at least B2), basic English skills (at least A2)
- Willingness to work in 2- to 3-shift operations
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
