As a Product Solution Manager (all genders), you are the strategic link between engineering innovation and commercial success in the energy storage space. You shape the future of residential and commercial battery solutions by guiding products from concept to market, aligning technical excellence with customer needs and regulatory demands. In this dynamic role, you lead cross‑functional collaboration, translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, and drive the development of cutting‑edge energy systems that empower a more sustainable future.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross‑functional communication and alignment with internal teams, external suppliers and key customers to ensure the timely delivery of BESS projects and their seamless execution.
• Own and drive the full product life cycle — from concept through to launch — ensuring alignment with technical feasibility, market needs and long‑term commercial strategy.
• Coordinate multiple parallel development projects within tight deadlines, demonstrating resilience, focus and leadership in a fast‑paced environment.
• Support commercial teams and Key Account Managers (KAMs) by developing bespoke technical solutions and presenting value‑driven product offerings to customers and partners.
• Continuously analyse market trends, evolving customer needs, regulatory landscapes and competitor offerings to shape differentiated, future‑ready BESS solutions for the residential and commercial segments.
• Ensure that all product developments adhere to regulatory, grid compliance and safety standards in the target markets.
• Deliver clear, structured communication across all levels of the organisation, from engineering and product teams to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement by identifying gaps, proposing enhancements and encouraging solution‑oriented thinking across the BESS value chain.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in product or project management within the energy, battery or renewable sector.
• Solid understanding of battery systems, BMS, renewable generation and inverter integration.
• Strong industry knowledge of the residential and/or commercial energy storage systems (BESS) market.
• Familiarity with working in cross‑functional, international teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach, capable of identifying technical and business opportunities in a rapidly evolving BESS market.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with engineering, sales and executive teams.
• Business fluency in English; proficiency in German and basic Chinese skills are a plus.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and reporting tools.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management training is advantageous.
