The Daily Banking & Payments team is looking for a Core Payment Product Owner. The Product Owner main task will be centered on the core banking payment capabilities, standards and systems. Managing the market evolution of our Payments, the standards or the systems upgrades, will be part of the job. Being part of a broader team, s.he will gain access to a wider scope and might also work on more transversal subjects related to Daily Banking products or Payments like digital payments or Payments APIs.

Your next challenge:
  • Is responsible for the "content" steering of the Core Payment team, actively & closely participating in the iteration ceremonies and the functioning of the fusion team;
  • Collects from Business owners (Business Unit & Product manager) and communicates the product vision and strategy to the development team, stakeholders, and other members of the organization. Translate the vision into capabilities or features;
  • Prioritizes the stories in the team backlog (in cooperation with the stakeholders) and takes care of a continuous flow of work;
  • Follows/reports the performance of his stream and proposes proactively improvements to Product Manager and Business Analysts;
  • Follows the success of the Core Payment instruments usage through KPI (Key Performance Indicators) agreed with the different stakeholders.
  • Elaborates the stories content wise (together with the team) allowing developers to build;
  • Performance reporting of the product including the data analysis;
  • Participates in the Product Management team and in the PO/PM Community of Practice;
  • Ensures the documentation (business capabilities, functional, testing, data model …) is up to date;
  • Prepares the go to market (Change, Communication & User Adoption) for the products under his responsibility.
  • Participates in the daily banking run & incident management
Your skills:
  • Education: University BAC+5.
  • Fluency in both English and French is mandatory
  • Banking experience with a strong sense of customer service & experience
  • Required Experience: 5-10 years.
  • Domain of expertise: T24, Salesforce, Omnitracker, Confluence & Jira. Digitalization of customer journeys
  • Will be considered as an advantage: Certified PO or willing to follow the training exam, Design Thinking, SAFe knowledge, Customer journey principles, IT tools: Jira, Confluence; Salesforce, T24.
More requirements:
  • Storyteller with excellent communication skills to negotiate with stakeholders and team, having the ability to convince
  • The Product Owner takes care of forcing decisions by aligning, where needed, with all experts and stakeholders (UX, product managers/owners of the product VC or Compliance, …)
  • Strong initiative, self-motivation and ability to work in teams
  • Cares for customers and business users, has a good business sense but also a technical foundation
  • Rigorous and well-organized
