Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.

We’re hiring a Plant Controller (f/m/d) in Saalfeld to lead the financial direction of our manufacturing site: shape strategy, challenge decisions, and move performance across operations.

You’ll turn run rates into margins, convert data into direction, and own the P&L from planning to results: budget, standard costing, inventory, capex, and real-time KPIs.

Partner with Ops, Supply Chain, and Leadership to call the plays—smart capex, lean productivity, margin expansion.

If you want your finance work to show up on the line and in the P&L, this is your seat at the table.

Impact You’ll Own
  • Own site P&L, budgets, forecasts, and month-end.
  • Standard cost recalculation, variance reporting, and action plans.
  • Margin analysis, improvement projects, and inventory accuracy.
  • Capex evaluation (CPA/CPJ), payback tracking, and risk calls.
  • ERP/SAP + BI dashboards that move decisions in real time.
  • Ensure GAAP, SOX, and Baxter policy compliance
Responsibilities
  • Build annual plant budgets; deliver performance feedback and corrective measures.
  • Lead standard cost updates; analyze variances and recommend actions.
  • Provide timely, accurate financials across plant/divisions (margin, spend, inventory).
  • Evaluate capital projects; write the business case and track results.
  • Partner with plant teams on investments and new business initiatives.
  • Oversee GAAP/SOX compliance and Baxter policies.
  • Plan, prepare, and supervise projects that improve productivity and margin.
Must‑have
  • Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting (or equivalent). CPA/MBA a plus.
  • 6–9+ years in manufacturing finance with costing & budgeting emphasis.
  • Strong standard costing, budget management, capex analysis & control.
  • Deep MS Office + ERP (SAP FI/CO, MM, PP; SAP Analysis for Office).
  • Clear communicator across levels; credible, concise, decisive.
  • Proven change agent in a global, matrixed environment; indirect leadership.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Experience with Lean concepts/tools.
  • Track record building dashboards and decision‑ready BI.
What You’ll Get
  • Fair remuneration with above‑average social benefits.
