Zusammenfassung

A deep-tech startup alliance based in Essen is seeking a People & Culture Manager to enhance workplace culture and employee support. You will partner with management, drive employee development initiatives, and oversee HR operations. We are looking for a People & Culture Manager (m/f/d) who helps us strengthen our culture, support our employees and members at BRYCK, and ensure that our ways of align with where we want to go as an organization. In this role, you bring our people‑related goals to life and help create a workplace where everyone can do their best work.

  • You act as a sparring partner to the management team and leaders to further develop and implement a sustainable and forward‑looking leadership culture.
  • You serve as a trusted contact person for the BRYCK team with an open ear for all employee‑related matters.
  • You manage and support regular feedback cycles and surveys, enabling you to stay connected to team sentiment and emerging needs.
  • You develop and drive initiatives that foster a culture where individuals can leverage their strengths and continuously develop.
  • You support the team in shaping and executing our mission, goals, and cultural principles.
  • You organize and facilitate regular team events and gatherings.
  • You support the team in implementing and maintaining modern collaboration and communication methods to ensure effective and transparent workflows.
  • You identify development opportunities and coordinate relevant trainings, workshops, and learning formats.
  • You collaborate with team leads and the HR department to manage recruiting and onboarding processes for new team members.
  • You coordinate with the external HR department on operational HR topics such as payroll, vacation management, and company pension schemes.
  • You oversee the whole employee life cycle.

  • You are familiar with common methods and tools for modern leadership and employee development.
  • You enjoy learning new things, follow through on tasks, and work in a precise, self‑driven, and structured manner.
  • Ideally, you are experienced in implementing and working with modern HR tools (e.g., Personio, etc.).
  • You are a true team player with a good sense of humor and a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
