Role

Role – Senior Consultant
Technology – DDI (DNS, DHCP & IPAM)/Network – L2/L3
Location – Stuttgart, Erlangen, Frankfurt

Responsibilities

• Stage, configure, install, document, and troubleshoot Efficient IP DNS, DHCP and IPAM infrastructure.
• Upgrade and patch DDI infrastructure.
• Work closely and effectively with customers, partners, vendors, and fellow team members to provide exceptional customer service.
• Respond to incoming tickets, troubleshoot, and escalate, if necessary.
• Network trends analysis for capacity planning and proactive fault finding.
• Root cause analysis of network syslog and documentation.
• Work with TAC as and when required.
• Good knowledge and hands-on with network administration.
• Should have extensive knowledge of switching/Routing.
• Contribute to documentation, review standards and operational procedures.
• Troubleshooting issues on different network platforms (LAN, Wireless).
• Provide RCA of major incidents/problems.
• Candidate should be flexible to work in 24x7 rotational shift.

Qualifications Required

• Strong knowledge in network administration processes and concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• The following certifications are a plus: CCNA, CCNP, ITIL Service Management.
• 4 to 10 years in a technology role.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Proven experience in diagnostics and problem analysis.
• Technology Efficient IP (DDI), Cisco Routing and Switching.
• Highly experienced with wired/wireless networking and network security.
• Extensive knowledge on Radius.

Desired

• Expertise with Efficient IP DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM).
• Assist with configuration within Efficient IP appliances.
• Configure DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP, IPAM, and other Infoblox services as per the requirements.
• Configure Primary Zone, DNS forward zone, DNS reverse zone and configure forwarders.
• Dynamic DNS registration (DDNS).
• Routing and Switching skills.
