About the Role

As a Senior Information Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Daikin Europe’s Information Security strategy (Fusion30). You will work closely with the Information Security Manager and senior leadership to ensure that our systems, services, and data remain secure, resilient, and compliant with evolving regulatory frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2.

This role is embedded in the IT Planning department and contributes directly to the development and operation of our Information Security Management System (ISMS). You will act as a subject matter expert and mentor to junior team members, while also coordinating with security leaders across more than 40 Daikin Group locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the ISMS.
• Identify, assess, and report Information Security Risks; define and prioritize mitigation strategies.
• Assist in architecting Information Security at Daikin EMEA.
• Coordinate and contribute to security-related projects & roadmap, including policy development, awareness campaigns, and incident response processes and practices.
• Serve as the primary security liaison for specific business domains or sites, ensuring local compliance with global security policies.
• Support internal and external audits, and contribute to certification readiness (e.g., ISO27001).
• Actively participate in the development of security governance.
• Provide coaching and guidance to junior Information Security Specialists and other stakeholders on security best practices by following latest trends in Information Security.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience (5+ years) in information security, preferably in a multinational or regulated environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISMS frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments and geographies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
