A dynamic marketing startup is seeking an experienced marketing leader to be their first hire. You will be responsible for leading hands-on B2C campaigns and building the brand from the ground up. The ideal candidate has 3-6 years of full marketing stack experience, a passion for execution, and a mindset suited for early-stage environments. The role offers a competitive salary up to $190K with equity options and performance-based bonuses.
Who We’re Looking For
We need a scrappy, creative, and execution-focused marketing leader who can build momentum, not just strategies. This is a hands-on role — leading with action, not decks.
Must-Have Traits:
3-6 years of full marketing stack experience with a Builder’s mindset
Proven experience launching B2C campaigns from scratch
Fluent in social, creator, influencer, and community-led marketing
Experience working in early stage environment (seed - Series B)
Excited to be the first marketing hire at a fast-moving startup
Willing and able to work in-office in NYC
Nice-to-Haves:
Entertainment, gaming, or creator economy experience
Professional familiarity with AI tools
Growth, performance, or demand gen experience is a plus
Comp & Structure
Base salary: Up to $190K
Equity: 0.3–0.6% depending on experience
Potential Bonus: Performance-based (e.g., milestone-driven)
Review: Comp package revisited post–Series A
