A national financial supervisory authority in Germany is seeking a professional to oversee compliance with regulations related to financial market infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in economy or a related field, proficiency in French and English, and experience in big data management. Responsibilities include supervising compliance, utilizing large datasets, and coordinating with various authorities. This role offers a permanent public employee contract and the opportunity to contribute to national and international financial regulations.
The division which is part of the “Innovation, Payments, Market Infrastructures and Governance” department, is responsible (i) in the field of “financial market infrastructures” (“FMI”), in particular in the context of CSDR, EMIR and SFTR, and (ii) the coordination related to ESMA as well as international and regulatory aspects related to market infrastructures. In the context of CSDR, the division is responsible for the authorisation of CSDs and the supervision of regulatory obligations on settlement discipline and internalised settlement. In the context of EMIR and SFTR, the division is responsible for the supervision of the regulatory obligations by non-financial counterparties. The division represents the CSSF within national and international groups covering financial market infrastructure topics.
The successful candidate (m / f) will be hired as public employee (“employé de l’Etat”) under a permanent contract. If the candidate meets the required conditions, s / he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant (“fonctionnaire de l’Etat”).
Prior to the conclusion of the contract, the candidate must submit an extract from the criminal record (bulletin n°3), dated less than 2 months, in order to prove their conduct and integrity.
