In this key role, you will champion optimization and innovation of our EC2 platforms, ensuring peak performance, scalability and robust reliability. You will build a high-performance organization by creating vision for your team, and defining the technological roadmap through the partnership with Principal Engineers, Product Managers and the engineering teams that operate the hardware and off-host software components, distributed in different locations and time-zones. In this position, you will wear many hats, requiring a technical background in operating systems and software development, strong product planning and program management, operational excellence, and excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable you to build trust with your leadership and your customers.
