Jobbeschreibung

Job Responsibilities:

1. Timely production of customer and test samples.
2. Ensuring operational readiness, functionality, and safety of all machines in the technical center.
3. Coordination, planning, and preparation of painting test series with laboratory staff.
4. Preparation of materials or substrates for painting tests.
5. Painting of samples (customer samples, test samples, test series).
6. Documentation of sample production (paints, item numbers, grammage, curing, drying conditions).
7. Supporting laboratory staff in testing and evaluating painting tests.
8. Planning machine utilization in the technical center.
9. Managing raw planks, raw boards, and substrates.
10. Ensuring inventory of standard substrates.
11. Ordering substrates in consultation with the department head.
12. Testing and ensuring the technical functionality of all machines, including reporting defects.
13. Organizing and implementing repairs and overhauls of machines and parts.
14. Training new employees on machines (circular saw, sander).
15. Occasionally: Assisting with paint batches in the laboratory.
16. Occasionally: Assisting with restocking raw materials and consumables for the development laboratory.
17. Occasionally: Supporting the technical field service.

Qualifications:

• Experienced carpenter with several years of professional experience and skilled trades training.
• Extensive knowledge of materials (wood, wood-based materials, plastics) and their processing and applications.
• Good knowledge of woodworking machinery (sawing, sanding) in craft and industrial sectors.
• Practical experience in processing and applying paints, including spray application.
• Strong technical skills and talent for improvisation.
• Reliability, meticulous work ethic, and cleanliness.
