Within our global Linux/Kubernetes team in the IT Workplace & Infrastructure division, we are seeking a Linux/Kubernetes Administrator/Architect (w/m/d) for our headquarters in Melsungen.

The Linux team is responsible for the technical design, implementation, lifecycle, and operation of B. Braun's Linux and Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities:

• Design, planning, and implementation of global Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems and OpenShift environments, considering cloud technologies, high availability, 24/7 operation, and security requirements.
• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of concepts for deployment, monitoring, effective administration, security, and operation of complex server and Kubernetes landscapes.
• Ensuring system stability, fault tolerance, and performance.
• Planning, coordinating, and executing lifecycle projects.
• Creating solution documentation and procedural instructions.
• Planning and conducting proof-of-concept tests for future concepts, new Linux servers, Kubernetes technologies, cloud, and on-premise architectures.

Technical Skills:

• Successfully completed Bachelor's degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification with several years of practical experience.
• Solid knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Satellite, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift or comparable container technologies.
• Experience with cloud technologies in Linux server and Kubernetes solutions.
• Fluent German and very good English skills, both spoken and written.
