Take on the editorial leadership for Deutsches Architektenblatt (DAB) and develop the brand across all channels. Responsibility for editorial planning and production spans print, digital, and social media, while providing professional guidance to editors and freelancers.

Closely collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that ASCS is assembling for the client, especially project management, photo editing, and design, ensures smooth coordination across all areas.

As the main editorial point of contact for the Federal Chamber of Architects (BAK) and the 16 State Chambers (LAKs), you coordinate monthly editorial meetings and present proposals and creative ideas with confidence and empathy.

Formats and content are developed to meet the client’s goals, resonate with target audiences, and reflect market needs.

Content production is planned with a keen eye for relevant and engaging topics. Current trends in architecture and urban planning are continuously monitored, while a strong network of freelancers is built for specialist contributions.

Clear briefings are created, and the high quality and consistency of all content are ensured through confident and experienced editing.

Qualifications :

• A relevant university degree, qualified journalistic training, and strong editorial know-how across both print and digital media.
• At least five years of editorial experience, ideally in the field of architecture, along with proven skills in team leadership and coordination.
• Deep interest in architecture and building culture supported by demonstrable subject matter expertise.
• Experience with content management systems, social media tools, and project management software such as Asana, WordPress, or Facelift.
• Clear, reliable, and solution-oriented communication skills with a strong consulting mindset.
