We are looking to hire a passionate Laboratory Technician [f/m/d] into our System Integration Team.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and document experiments on our molecular cartography platform and on other test systems.
  • Evaluate experimental results and perform basic analyses of diverse imaging datasets.
  • Prepare samples, including histological sectioning using cryotomes and microtomes.
  • Implement quality control measures, conduct in-process controls, and support verification and validation studies.
  • Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper function of laboratory equipment.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to scientific and technical discussions.
Your profile
  • A completed degree or certification as BTA, CTA, Biologielaborant or equivalent qualification. First industry experience is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology and biochemical techniques, proficiency in working with nucleic acids (especially RNA) and proteins.
  • Hands-on experience in histological staining methods such as SMFISH and IHC/Immunofluorescence is beneficial.
  • Hands-on experience with fluorescence microscopy and image analysis is beneficial.
  • Proficient in English; German is a plus.
  • Solid proficiency with MS Office, experience with scripting languages such as R or Python as well as ImageJ as image analysis software is beneficial.
