A leading electronics supply chain platform in Munich is seeking a Junior Leadership Associate. The role involves strategic support to the leadership team, particularly assisting the Co-Founder. Responsibilities include office management, enhancing team culture, and handling logistics. The ideal candidate should be Native/Fluent in German, have strong English skills, and possess a driver's license. This position offers a steep learning curve and the opportunity to contribute to a tech scale-up environment.
As our Junior Leadership Associate, you will play a dual role: acting as a strategic right hand to our leadership team (especially our Co-Founder Sebastian), while simultaneously ensuring our Munich office remains a world-class environment for our Luminerds.
You don't just keep things running — you elevate them and are a 100% organizational powerhouse. 🚀
Sebastian – our Co-Founder & Managing Director. → One of the two Founders, leading the Revenue & Operations functions at Luminovo.
Benedikt – our VP Operations. → He leads our Finance and Legal teams directly, and oversees our People team.
Hannah – our People Lead → She’s in charge of Luminovo’s People function, incl. labor law topics, company retreats, compensation strategy, and performance management.
Naima – our Legal Counsel and Business Operations Associate. → she is in charge for all legal matters and supports Benedikt.
Start date: January 2026 (or as soon as possible)
Weekly hours: Full-time (preferred)
Location: Munich (Presence required to manage office & local leadership support)
Multiply the impact of our leadership team.
Founder Operations: Become Sebastian’s "gatekeeper" and facilitator. Manage his inbox, draft responses, and rigorously prioritize his calendar to ensure he focuses on high-impact tasks.
Manager Enablement: Support our managers in their role and be their right hand for executing tasks.
Culture. Be proactive, solve problems independently, and approach your tasks and projects with a hands-on attitude. Be a role model for our operating principles to amplify our unique team culture.
Create an environment where Luminerds can do their best work.
Office Management: Ownership of our Munich hub. This includes supply management, handling package deliveries, and being the go-to person for local infrastructure.
Travel & Logistics: Manage the "travel desk" (flights, trains, hotels, visas) for the team and leadership.
Events & Culture: Organize internal workshops, customer visits, and legendary team retreats.
Process Building: Identify bottlenecks in our daily operations (e.g., onboarding, receipt collection in Moss, inventory) and build scalable solutions.
Safety & Compliance: Take charge of "Arbeitsschutz" and coordinate "Betriebsprüfung" topics.
Ad-hoc Projects: Support various departments (Legal, People, Finance) with high-priority tasks as they arise.
We purposefully don't have a standard list of requirements. We care about your drive, your organizational talent, and your ability to get things done.
However, for this specific role, there are three "must-haves":
🇩🇪 Native/Fluent German: You will handle German authorities, landlords, and specific local stakeholders.
🇬🇧 Strong English: Our company language is English, and our team is international.
🚗 Driver’s License (Klasse B): You will need to handle executive support tasks.
You are a "productivity geek" who loves organizing and optimizing.
You are proactive: You see a problem and solve it before anyone else notices.
You have high emotional intelligence and can communicate professionally with stakeholders ranging from interns to investors.
You enjoy being the "backbone" of a team while having the ambition to learn how a tech scale-up is run.
Steep Learning Curve: Direct insights into CEO-level decision-making and scale-up operations.
Psychological Safety: We value honest feedback and want you to speak your mind.
Personal Development: No fixed budgets – if a training or book helps you grow, we usually cover it.
Flexibility: While this role requires presence in Munich, we offer a flexible environment regarding working hours.
Equity: All full-time Luminerds receive stock option packages – we want you to own a piece of what you build.
Parental Support: We contribute to childcare costs.
