Field of activity

The "DRV Bund IT" is the service provider for the German Federal Pension Insurance and develops and operates a complex IT system landscape in close coordination with the customer. With our central IT services, we are responsible for the areas of middle server level, application operation of the core system, Microsoft infrastructure, development environment and tools as well as container technology.

Your tasks

• Analysis, conception, design and documentation of IT system and application architectures
• Development of solutions taking into account strategic, economic and technological requirements
• Decisive collaboration in the design of innovative IT architectures (e.g. container platforms, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Sovereign Developer Workplace or On Premise AI)
• Technical responsibility for IT projects in the design, implementation, test and rollout phases
• Creation and validation of solution designs for complex IT environments, taking into account our architecture principles and compliance with our IT security requirements
• Close collaboration and coordination with our enterprise architects and other stakeholders
• Advising the development departments as well as project and working groups on the introduction or optimization of complex application and infrastructure architectures in line with our corporate strategy
• Active participation in architecture committees within and outside the DRV Bund

Your profile

• Successfully completed university studies (diploma, master’s or equivalent degree) in the IT field or a comparable degree in accordance with the Federal Career Ordinance (BLV) or the collective agreement on further training
• Current and in-depth knowledge in the field of responsibility
• Sound knowledge of enterprise architecture management, system design, IT architectures and IT process models
• Methodology, architecture and project management expertise as well as experience with requirement engineering
• Sound knowledge of embedding security principles, assessing vulnerabilities and reviewing resilience aspects
• Desirable: Expertise in the areas of Microsoft infrastructure, Microsoft Cloud, container platforms, development environments and tools as well as KRITIS requirements
• Analytical and strategic thinking, the ability to work in a team and problem-solving skills round off your profile
