3rd party resources to support IT Network Security operations (e.g. Firewalls).
The role involves comprehensive firewall administration with a focus on Palo Alto and Checkpoint platforms to ensure robust network security. The candidate will be responsible for developing automated solutions aimed at enhancing the Network Security Orchestrator, including both backend components and portal servers. Additionally, the role requires designing and implementing automation tools to streamline daily operational tasks, such as upgrade processes, to improve efficiency and reliability within the network security infrastructure.

Scope of Services / Deliverables

Key Responsibilities

• Administration and management of firewalls, specifically Palo Alto and Checkpoint platforms.
• Design and development of automated solutions to enhance the Network Security Orchestrator, encompassing both backend systems and portal servers.
• Creation and implementation of automation tools to streamline routine operational tasks, such as upgrade automation.

Candidate Requirements

To ensure compliance with sovereign infrastructure support, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• EU + NATO Citizenship: Candidates are required to hold citizenship from a country that is a member of both the European Union and NATO.
• German Employment Contract: Candidates must be directly employed by a German legal entity under a contract governed by German labor law. This includes full adherence to all German tax, social security, and employment regulations. Employment contracts issued outside Germany are not acceptable.
• SÜG 2 Security Clearance: Candidates must possess the Ü2 sabotage protection security clearance as stipulated by the German Security Clearance Act (Sicherheitsüberprüfungsgesetz SÜG).
