LHM Services GmbH is a subsidiary of the City of Munich and is responsible for the IT infrastructure of over 1,000 educational, childcare, and sports facilities. It provides, maintains, and develops modern information and communication technology and offers comprehensive IT services including consulting, support, and training. The aim is to support educational work with state‑of‑the‑art IT solutions and enable sustainable education for around 200,000 students and children in Munich.

What you do has an impact, even if you don’t see it right away

• Primary responsibility for ServiceNow, from technical architecture and stable operation to the strategic development of the platform.
• Keeping the infrastructure running, stable, secure, and efficient, with a focus on automation and monitoring.
• Confidently analyzing and resolving complex 2nd and 3rd level incidents and translating them into sustainable best practices.
• Providing technical advice on an equal footing, both internally and externally, with a focus on the feasibility, efficiency, and future viability of ServiceNow and related systems.
• Taking on technical implementation in operations, independently, with responsibility for individual packages or entire projects related to the ServiceNow platform.
• Create technical documentation and maintain operating concepts to ensure that knowledge is retained and processes are clear. Manage service providers professionally and ensure quality. Shape the future by evaluating new technologies, developing technical roadmaps, and introducing innovative solutions in the context of ServiceNow.   • Completed degree or vocational training in IT or a comparable qualification.
  • At least three years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally with a focus on complex IT applications such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong expertise in strategic and conceptual work, from the initial idea to technical implementation.
  • In‑depth technical know‑how of IT infrastructure, service architectures, and platform operation.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or comparable systems, including customization, integration, and operation.
  • Confidence in working with internal teams, external service providers, and manufacturers.
  • Independent, structured approach to work and a desire to not only manage things, but to actively shape them.
