Position: HR Site Manager Hof and HR Country Coordinator Germany (M/F/D).
Responsibilities
Strategy & Management
- Contributes to Business Strategy of the site and deploys the HR Strategy & HR Annual Plan
- Designs and implements site HR Organization, acting as a leader/manager for the HR department
- Develops, coordinates, implements and ensures annual Site HR Roadmap
- Communicates and leads change‑management actions to support the Site Vision
- Follows the HR KPIs (absenteeism, overtime, total cost of employment…) and ensures the right level of performance
- Coordinates the people matters during business transformation (financial, organisational, social and legal, people impact analysis), defines action plan and acts as facilitator / communicator
Talent Supply / Staffing
- Develop, adapt and implement sourcing strategy and practices in line with Group Policies and Group decisions.
- Manage job descriptions and support managers in developing them
- Lead the yearly recruitment plan
- Launch the required staffing needs
- Coordinate validation of open position requests
- Lead candidate interviews, propose short list and support site managers in the final selection
- Define & negotiate the pay package for new hires, and coordinate contract management
- Develop and implement induction process and ensure the follow up
Performance Management and Compensation & Benefits
- Translate, and deploy the performance management process in line with Group Policies (performance appraisal, mid‑year review,…) and coach Managers accordingly
- Coordinate and follow up the objectives setting and cascading process, ensuring they are aligned
- Coordinate and follow up the yearly salary reviews in line with performance
- Ensure the yearly C&B budget is respected.
- Implement the (Group) job grading for all positions (Group and sector compliance).
- Define Comp & Ben structure according to Group policy & market
Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead local SPID‑process
- Deploy competence models, coordinate and follow up the competencies/skills gap analysis for the site (competence management)
- Define and implement the training & development process, organise trainings
- Support managers in the individual development interview process, ensure that all employees have an appropriate development plan and follow their realization
- Coach/support the managers in people management and advise them in all people‑related matters
Work Environment, Employment Relationship & Social Relations
- Follows the Health and Safety results and ensures the deployment of the right actions to improve it
- Contributes with local management to labour relations approach
- Ensures the compliance of social and legal rules
- Responsible for individual and collective works agreements
- Manage complaints, discipline matters and conflict management
- Acts as a relay and is responsible for internal communication and deployment
- Perform complaint, discipline and conflict management
- Deploys the employee survey and analyses and communicates the results and defines the action plan for the site together with the local management committee
HR Administration Efficiency & Payroll
- Ensure compliance with social and legal legislation
- Develop & ensure standards and guidelines for personnel administration, time management & payroll
- Give technical advice to complex payroll issues and execute complex payroll issues & calculations
- Develop, implement the benefits & pension administration approach & guidelines in line with Group Policies
- Deploy HRIS within the plant
Comply with Group and Legal Rules and Procedures
- Respect and implement Group rules and procedures regarding Ethics, antitrust, and internal control procedures; related to the perimeter. Respect the action plan and timeline concerning the ethics program of the Group and take the lead in organising and following up the trainings and certificates
- Respect the rules regarding Health, Safety & environment. Lead the wellbeing‑program of the company together with the H&S Manager
HR Country Coordination Responsibilities
- Ensure that Nexans HR policies, standards, governance and control processes are implemented in the country
- Ensure compliance with country legislation for HR topics
- Maintain, update and ensure visibility of HR policies, practice and relevant legislation
- Ensure that country‑specific actions are implemented and followed up for leave and time management, absence management, payroll transition, internal policies, training policies, thank you awards etc.
- Follow up on social climate on the sites within the country and ensure that actions are in compliance with social and legal legislation
- Handling grievance procedures for the county
- Ensures that the business conduct guidelines are implemented in the country (Competition Law Compliance, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, any other relevant guideline)
Compensation and Benefits
- Oversee implementation of reward strategy, including salary benchmarking, pension arrangements, benefits management and annual compensation events such as bonus and salary review
- Oversee and ensure implementation and follow up of all matters relating to internal mobility. This will include knowledge of immigration, expatriate taxation and mobility practices
- Implement relevant and intuitive compensation schemes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in economics, psychology, law, preferably with extra degree in HRM or comparable qualification
- Knowledge of German labour law and social legislation
- Knowledge of software package: MS‑Office, Infoniqa or other payrolling system, GFOS or other time accounting
- Fluent written and spoken skills in German and English
- At least 7 years of experience in HR (industrial company)
