The Role

We’re looking for an HR Generalist who loves building structure and creating a great employee experience. You’ll be the go-to person for employees in Germany and France, partnering closely with our Operations team and senior leadership. This role is hands‑on and full of impact: you’ll help us run excellent HR operations while evolving smarter, more scalable processes for an international company.

If you enjoy improving how things work, solving problems before they become problems, and helping people feel supported and set up for success – you’ll feel right at home.

What Sets You Apart
Key Responsibilities
  • People Operations: From drafting and managing employment contracts and references, to running onboarding and offboarding experiences. You’ll also maintain employee documentation with care and precision.
  • Payroll coordination (Germany + France): You’ll prepare and coordinate payroll for Germany and France in close collaboration with external providers, ensuring deadlines are met, data is correct, and processes are reliable. You’ll also act as the bridge between employees and providers, making sure questions get answered clearly and proactively.
  • German labor law and social security topics: Helping managers and employees navigate situations confidently and fairly. When something needs deeper expertise, you’ll collaborate with external experts or providers.
  • Recruiting & candidate experience: You’ll lead recruiting processes and applicant management in an international environment, working closely with hiring managers to keep hiring structured and human.
  • Build and improve HR processes: You’ll identify gaps, reduce friction, and improve workflows across our locations. You’ll be encouraged to bring ideas, test improvements, and implement changes - not just point out what’s broken.
  • Culture & engagement: You’ll support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and team moments that help people feel connected across locations. You’ll bring a people-first mindset to the role: noticing what’s working, spotting what’s not, and contributing ideas that make the employee experience better over time.
