Role Description

This role involves leading the UX strategy and managing a high-performing UX team to enhance member experience.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive UX strategy
  • Manage UX team capacity, prioritizing projects to align with critical initiatives
  • Guide and mentor UX team on best practices and emerging trends
  • Monitor and share the impact of UX efforts on the member experience
  • Build and streamline UX research processes
  • Plan and conduct design sprints and workshops in collaboration with Consumer Experience and Digital Design teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best-in-class user experience
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 7 years of experience in strategic planning for digital experiences with demonstrated skills in relationship building, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • 5 years of experience in digital design research, usability, and accessibility
  • 5 years of leadership experience managing multiple, cross-functional teams
  • 1 year of experience driving complex projects from start to finish
  • 1 year of experience in project management, statistical analysis, and continuous improvement methods
Requirements
  • Ability to quickly take complex technical subjects and distill them into user-friendly presentations and digital communications
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles, and accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
