Purpose the Role
- HCL Technologies is looking for a HSEE specialist to join the Team with responsibility to manage HSEE in Germany offices. As HCLTech continues to grow, there is a requirement to expand the team of HSE Specialists.
- As a HSEE Specialist, the resource will be in-charge with the coordination of activities related to the implementation and management of Health, Safety, Environmental and Energy matters in Germany.
Job Description
- Expert level understating of HSEE Standards requirements (ISO 14001 : 2015, ISO 45001 : 2018 & ISO 50001 : 2018) and its implementation in IT Industry
- Exposure to Environmental, Health, Safety legislation including local applicable laws.
- He or she should understand and Implement HSE Guidelines for HCLTech with the collaboration of Site leads & Function leads.
- Ability to work on HSEE Standards’ Site-Specific requirements
- Ability to work with all concerned stakeholders to identify and Implement Green initiatives.
- Measure and Enhance Internal Stake holder satisfaction on HSE
- Review and maintain ‘Regulatory Compliance’ documents and records.
- Assess HSE impacts and eliminate unreasonable risks from HCLTech facilities, services and activities.
- Plan and achieve set HSEE Objectives.
- Develop Site specific standard operating procedures (SOPs) as per the need to carry out activities in specified conditions.
- Ensure HSE requirements are met from customers, regulatory authorities, internal and external stakeholders, and other interested parties.
- Conduct Internal Audits as per HSEE audit protocols of HCLTech.
- Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
- Verify that incident logs and reports are completed and submitted to related stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various internal departments on HSEE issues (if any) and help them to address those issues during audits / inspections / assessments.
- Establishes safety standards and policies as needed.
- Arranges for mandated testing and / or evaluations of the workplace by external agencies / consultants.
- Promote environmentally conscious conduct among internal stakeholders.
- Prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Provide a safe and healthy working environment.
- Record and investigate incidents to identify the root causes.
- Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information.
- Carry out PTW Monitoring and review.
- Ensure preparation and implementation of Site Safety Plan (SSP).
- Active participation and handling of External and Internal Audits.
- Ability to prepare and implement management programs against the objective of the organization.
- Help the GWS Function in various activities related to ESG affairs.
- Must possess necessary knowledge on GHG emissions accounting.
