Responsibilities

Your Role

As the Head of Sales for our dynamic sales teams in Germany and Austria, you will lead a diverse group of Account Managers, shaping local sales strategies that align with our ambitious goals in Process Solutions within the Life Science division. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving your team’s sales performance, ensuring we not only meet but exceed our customers’ expectations and sales targets. You will actively coach and develop your team members, enhancing their skills in sales, forecasting, and business management.

This role requires a strategic mindset, as you will create effective business plans tailored to various market segments and product lines. Additionally, you will establish and nurture strategic relationships within the Life Science industry, particularly in the Biopharma and Pharma markets. Embracing digital tools and solutions will be essential to maximize productivity and transparency within your team. Furthermore, you will allocate resources effectively to support growth initiatives. Who You Are
  • Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or any Life Science-related field.
  • Over 5 years of leadership experience as a Regional Head of Sales.
  • More than 10 years of direct experience in sales within the Life Science sector, ideally in the German-speaking area.
  • Strong commercial capabilities with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and an integrated approach to business challenges.
  • Proficient in utilizing digital tools to enhance team performance.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales volume goals through effective team leadership.
  • Willingness to travel for internal meetings and customer visits, including overnight travel.
  • Fluent in German.
