We are seeking a Head of GTM Strategy & Sales Development — a key leadership role partnering with the CRO to architect and operationalize scalable revenue growth. You will serve as the CRO’s strategic partner in designing and running programs across the customer lifecycle, piloting and operationalizing new GTM motions, and building the foundations for repeatable, efficient growth. This is both a hands-on builder role as well as a long-term strategic position shaping how Maltego scales across markets, products, and customer segments.
What to expect
Your responsibilities will include:
- GTM Strategy, Programs, and Business Development
- Partner with the CRO and RevOps to define and execute Maltego’s global GTM strategy: spanning segmentation, routes to market, and motions for commercial and government sectors.
- Design and guide scalable growth programs across the revenue lifecycle: new segment plays, AI-enabled sales motions, cross-sell programs, and market entry initiatives.
- Build and manage a Business Development & GTM Programs team (2–3 FTE) that drives strategic initiatives, partner integrations, and new channel exploration.
- Translate strategy into execution: develop playbooks, process design, and success metrics that turn ideas into measurable outcomes.
- Evaluate and deploy new GTM models — e.g., hybrid self-serve + assisted selling, ABM programs, or partner co-sell frameworks.
- Sales Development (SDR) Leadership
- Direct and expand the Sales Development team (currently 4 → 6 FTE) responsible for qualifying inbound leads and executing structured outbound campaigns, ensuring delivery on growing pipeline generation needs
- Elevate SDR operations through modern enablement, tooling including AI, and data-driven productivity metrics.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales on account prioritization, ICP alignment, and campaign execution, ensuring shared ownership of pipeline quality and velocity.
- Establish global SDR best practices and coaching programs to continuously improve effectiveness and conversion.
- Sales Engineering & Technical Pre-Sales
- Manage the Sales Engineering organization (currently 4 → 5 FTE) to deliver exceptional technical discovery, demos, RFP responses, and POCs.
- Create standardized demo and proof-of-concept frameworks that improve win rates and accelerate time-to-close.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to capture market feedback and strengthen Maltego’s technical value proposition.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between Sales Engineers, Account Executives, and Customer Success to support the full bowtie customer journey.
- Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth
- Facilitate and run Maltego’s partnership strategy: identify, evaluate, and grow relationships with data providers, system integrators, resellers, and technology allies.
- Define clear frameworks for partner engagement, enablement, and performance management.
- Develop joint GTM and co-marketing programs that drive partner-sourced or partner-influenced revenue.
- Build the infrastructure for a repeatable, scalable partner ecosystem that complements direct sales.

Your profile in short
- 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS GTM leadership, spanning business development, sales development, or revenue strategy functions.
- Proven track record building and scaling go-to-market teams and programs that delivered measurable revenue growth.
- Experience bridging strategy and execution: comfortable designing frameworks and getting hands-on to implement them.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator; adept at influencing across Sales, Marketing, Product, and RevOps.
- Experience with complex, technical SaaS sales cycles (ideally cybersecurity, intelligence, or data analytics).
- Analytical and structured thinker with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
- Leadership style combining strategic clarity, operational excellence, and team enablement.
