As a Group Accountant (f/m/d) in the Finance Unit at Trusted Shops, you will be involved in company-wide finance projects. You will have a wide range of tasks from preparing financial statements to process optimization and project support.

• Responsibility for the joint development and implementation of projects, guidelines and processes in the area of accounting in accordance with HGB and IFRS. This includes the definition of Group guidelines and the introduction of new standards and laws.
• Preparation of monthly financial statements for Trusted Shops AG and at Group level
• Communication with auditing companies and international tax consultants in the context of accounting issues
• Supervision and support of various, wide-ranging projects in the finance area
• Support in the preparation and assessment of the IFRS notes to the consolidated financial statements and the management report

Your profile

• Completed business studies with a focus on accounting or balancing (or a comparable qualification)
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB, ideally experience in the area of internal control systems and group accounting
• Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting according to HGB and IFRS
• Experience in various accounting and ERP systems, as well as confident use of MS Office programs
• User knowledge of subscription management software, Zuora knowledge desirable
• Flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-changing environment with dynamic objectives
• Hands-on mentality
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Not only is the personal interaction, the working atmosphere and the mindset in the department great, I also really enjoy the work itself. Here, tasks are not just dully processed, but contexts and backgrounds are also explained. Thanks to the participation in the monthly closing, there is always variety of tasks.
