We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Global Key Account Senior Director to lead one of our most critical global customer relationships within the Food Ingredients division. This role requires a senior commercial leader with a proven ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, drive strategic growth, and orchestrate cross-functional collaboration across geographies.

Location & Travel

Location is flexible within Europe (in IFF locations), with preference being for Lyngby, Brabrand, Milan or Niebull. Estimated travel for this role is 50% globally.

Where You’ll Make a Difference?

• Strategic Account Leadership: Own and drive the global strategy for a top-tier Key Account, aligning with IFF’s Food Ingredient business objectives and the customer’s long-term vision.
• Executive Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives at the customer organization, acting as a strategic advisor and thought partner.
• Growth Delivery: Develop and execute account plans that deliver sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and innovation pipeline acceleration.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Lead global cross-functional teams (commercial, technical, innovation, supply chain) to deliver seamless customer experience and value.
• Innovation Champion: Identify and co-create innovation opportunities that leverage IFF’s capabilities to solve customer challenges and unlock new market potential.
• Performance Management: Monitor account performance, forecast accurately, and ensure delivery against financial and strategic KPIs.
• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer shifts to inform strategy and maintain IFF’s leadership position.

What Makes You the Right Fit?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of commercial experience in the Food Ingredients or FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in global key account leadership.
• Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-regional customer relationships at all levels.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
