German Speaking Manager – Accounting Team

Our partner, a well‑established PFS located in Mamer with more than 70 employees, is continuing to expand and is now strengthening its team dedicated to investment vehicles and SPVs. Due to sustained growth and the onboarding of numerous new mandates, the company is seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to support the development of the department.

The firm stands out thanks to its broad range of services — accounting, tax, legal and human resources — as well as the advanced digitalisation of its internal processes. This modern environment enables teams to focus on high‑value tasks rather than repetitive operational duties.

Your Responsibilities
  • Supervise the accounting management of a portfolio including SPVs, holdings, Soparfis, and Private Equity / Real Estate vehicles, including:
  • Reviewing the work prepared by senior accountants.
  • Overseeing the full process of preparing annual accounts, from the balance sheet to the final closing.
  • Training and supporting junior and senior accountants, including those working remotely, ensuring clear and efficient communication across the team.
  • Preparing and validating tax and VAT returns, working closely with the Tax team for complex cases.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships built on responsiveness, trust, and high‑quality service.
Profile and Career Path
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in accounting within a PFS, fiduciary or Big Four in Luxembourg.
  • You are fluent in English and German, which is essential for communication with both internal and external interlocutors.
  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent; any additional qualification (OEC, ACCA, etc.) is considered an advantage.
  • Having previous experience in supervising a team will represent a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of SPV structures and alternative investment funds is essential for this position.
