A leading venture capital firm in Düsseldorf is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. This high-impact position requires a university degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 2 years of relevant experience. The role involves working closely with senior stakeholders, managing financial operations, and supporting compliance-related processes. The firm offers a competitive salary and an annual performance-based bonus, with fluency in English and German as a requirement.
Revent is an early‑stage venture firm backing Europe’s most talented founders building companies that truly matter. We focus on the founders who don’t just want to build a unicorn – they want to leave a legacy, to improve our collective future. As a firm, we work relentlessly hard to earn the right to partner with outlier individuals. We’ve invested in companies such as Avelios Medical (Sequoia subsequently led their Series A), Tem Energy (Series A led by Atomico), and several yet‑unannounced rounds with Tier 1 funds, and are currently deploying a fresh €110M fund. With this new fund, we will invest in 35 ultra‑early‑stage companies all pushing the boundaries in AI, software, and frontier tech.
We are hiring a Finance Manager to join Revent full‑time as soon as possible as a core member of our Finance & Operations function. This role is critical to the smooth, scalable, and compliant running of the firm and our funds. You will work closely with the VP Finance, partners, the investment team, and external service providers to ensure that Revent’s financial operations are best‑in‑class, robust, and future‑proof. We deliberately keep our team small, so this is a high‑impact role with broad exposure and real responsibility from day one. Your job description is simple: contribute meaningfully to making Revent a durable, well‑run, and scalable venture firm. The day‑to‑day is diverse and hands‑on, and will call on your judgment, precision, and ownership mentality on a regular basis.
We care much more about your core attributes, attitude, and trajectory than your CV. That said, we are looking for someone who brings a high‑IQ, high‑EQ, low‑ego, strong ownership mentality, and sound judgment. We want you to thrive in a small, high‑performance team and help shape our finance department into a professional, future‑proof practice.
Immediate availability preferred. This role is based in Revent’s Berlin office. We are not sponsoring working visas, meaning you must already have the right to work full‑time in Germany. Compensation is between €50,000 – €75,000 annually depending on experience, plus an annual performance‑based bonus.
The application process will remain open until February 5th, 2026. That said, we review applications on a rolling basis and so there is an advantage to applying earlier. After submitting the application form, if applicable, you will receive a link to a video task. After this, we will get in touch with you within two weeks if we’d like to move forward with your application. From there, the process consists of several interviews with the finance & Revent team, a case study, and time together in person to ensure mutual fit.
