Integrated Function Planning is a support function to the three backbones of Engineering: the Chief Engineers, the Centres of Competence (CoCs), and Top Management. It is involved in all workload and workforce processes across the Engineering perimeter of Air Power, meaning workload planning, management and reporting, as well as scheduling activities.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with work package management, bid coordination, and workload planning processes across key Engineering programmes—such as Eurofighter—supporting CoCs and Chief Engineering. The diverse nature of technical planning tasks makes this role particularly attractive for candidates seeking insight into company-wide and programme-specific performance.

Your location

Located about an hour’s drive north of Munich, Manching is an up-and-coming market town that offers a wide range of leisure and cultural activities. Here, you can enjoy the quality of life in the countryside while the pleasures of nearby cities are still within easy reach.

Your benefits
  • Attractive salary and special payments
  • 30 days paid vacation and extra days-off for special occasions
  • Excellent upskilling opportunities and great international, group-wide development prospects
  • Special benefits: employer-funded pension, employee stock options, discounted car leasing, special conditions for insurances, subsidies for public transport, employee benefits at cooperating companies
  • On-site facilities: Medical officer for check-ups and other health-related services, canteen and cafeteria, kindergarten close to the site
  • Compatibility of family & work (job sharing, part-time models, flexible working hours, individual timeout)
  • Working in a diverse environment, with more than 140 nationalities, where every voice is heard
Your tasks and responsibilities
  • Support the execution of the annual budget planning: OP/EACs/Forecast
  • Assist in the coordination and management of workload and SAP implementation
  • Contribute to the coordination of Engineering offers, from Kick-off Meeting (KoM) to delivery to Finance for formalization
  • Support Chief Engineers (CE) and CoCs in executing internal engineering processes
  • Engage in cross-functional planning and support activities relevant to engineering programmes
Desired skills and qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years experience in planning activities
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Strong analytical and data-handling skills
  • Adaptive and flexible in a changing environment
  • Curious mindset and interest in developing innovative solutions
