For the position of Engineer / Aircraft Manager at our customer Airbus Operations GmbH in Hamburg Finkenwerder, we are seeking a dedicated individual who can quickly understand and analyze technical interrelationships and functionalities. With your strong communication skills, you will liaise effectively with contacts at all levels — an exciting role at the heart of aviation development awaits you.
The gross annual salary ranges from €73,000 to €78,000, depending on qualifications. Please note that only candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa) will be considered.
Job Description
Tasks
- Responsible for the Manufacturing Serial Number (MSN) within the Final Assembly Line (FAL)
- Planning and coordination of outstanding work
- Acting as an interface between production and management
- Managing escalations independently in case of process disruptions
- Organizing and executing the Final Operational Test (FOT) meeting for handover to the flight line
- Managing and controlling multifunctional teams (MFT)
Requirements
- Degree in aircraft construction, engineering, or aerospace engineering
- Alternatively, completed vocational training as an electronics technician for aeronautical systems, aircraft electronics technician, or aircraft mechanic, ideally with a master craftsman qualification
- Several years of professional experience in manufacturing/production, aircraft construction, and aerospace
- Sound knowledge of project management
- Proficiency in SAP; experience with Google Workspace is an advantage
- Business fluent German and English, at least C1 level
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- Unrestricted work permit for the EU
