Key responsibilities:

This position is considered for the Practice Area Central Functions with the focus on Finance Strategy and Finance Transformation.

You will get to:

• Work with client teams, bearing responsibility for the client relationship, the quality of the deliverables and ensuring project milestones are reached, while acting on behalf of or as recommended by the Partner or Senior Engagement Manager
• Lead the project team towards the successful achievement of all set targets while coaching and mentoring them and supporting their development; keep a healthy employee rotation
• Manage communications and project timelines, anticipating obstacles and solutions
• Build long-term client relationships and help uncover future business opportunities and ways of solving their needs
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of a Partner or a Senior Engagement Manager
• Help increase Allianz Consulting expertise within our strategic areas of development with focus on Finance Strategy and Transformation
• Contribute to the achievement of all targets and results by achieving collectively agreed team revenue, cost and profit KPIs
• Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team events

Key requirements / What we hope you bring:

• You have a university degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or equivalent experience. Extra-occupational trainings are highly beneficial (e.g. CFA, chartered accountant, actuary)

• You have broad experience in Consulting and/or Project Management for at least 8 years, ideally in Finance Transformation projects (preferably within a Global Business Services (GBS)/Shared Service Center context)

• You have proven experiences in Finance Transformation programs/projects preferably within a GBS environment

• You have extensive Finance expertise in at least one of the following areas: Accounting, Controlling, Risk Management, Actuarial and/or Finance Operations

• You have a very good understanding of Finance processes and the ability to grasp complex issues quickly

• You are experienced in process optimization preferable within Accounting and Controlling processes

• You have strong analytical skills, strategical thinking and an entrepreneurial mind set

• Ideally you gained first experience in the area of shared services/global business services

• Ideally you also gained SAP S/HANA knowledge

• You are a strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure

• You have an affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking to help you organize and prioritize your tasks
• You are interested in working in a diverse and international team and your drive to train and help others grow

• Y ou are fluent in written and spoken English
