Job Description

This position is part of our Sustainability Unit, which aims to empower businesses to build a sustainable future.

Task description

• Preparation, support, and follow-up for internal and external energy audits (e.g., ISO 50001)
• Developing, tracking, and monitoring Significant Energy Usage (SEU) performance
• Maintaining and updating energy management documentation and action plans
• Energy data reporting, including maintaining the energy report and management tool
• Close collaboration and exchange with internal departments on energy topics
• Organizing and supporting energy team meetings (preparation and follow-up)
• Providing support for the preparation of management reviews
• Creation of required documentation and presentation of work results

Required qualification

The job requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed degree with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable courses of study and related subject‑specific additional qualifications or completed vocational training with a corresponding particularly extensive subject‑specific additional qualification. The total required knowledge and experience may have been acquired in other ways.

Required competences and skills

• Knowledge and experience in the above‑mentioned areas of responsibility
• Working experience as an Energy Management Consultant or a similar role
• Knowledge of energy management standards and methodologies (ISO 50001, DIN EN 17463)
• Experience with Google‑Suite, e!Sankey, eSight, SAP, Skywise (Palantir Foundry), and/or Qlik
• Familiarity with project management methodologies like Waterfall, LBIP, or Agile
• Strong technical, analytical and conceptual skills
• Strong reliability and precise working methods
• Committed, proactive and team‑orientated way of thinking and working
• A skilful, confident manner and strong improvisation, organisational and communication skills
• Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
