This role is centred on analytical work using open-source intelligence and active monitoring of the Joint Security Operations Centre (JSOC). While intelligence analysis is a core function, the successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying, analysing, and reporting on threats and security incidents. You will be responsible for collecting and interpreting intelligence from a variety of sources, delivering actionable insights to strengthen the organisation’s security posture, and supporting incident response efforts.

The analyst will have a regional focus on EMEA, with particular emphasis on Central Europe.

This is a shift-based position, requiring on-site presence at the client’s Munich office.

Responsibilities
  • Assess tactical intelligence sources for immediate relevance and impact to the client organisation.
  • Monitor and analyse threat intelligence feeds and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to proactively identify emerging threats and assess their relevance to the organisation’s operational environment.
  • Produce detailed intelligence reports, threat assessments, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Correlate threats to client assets and prioritise based on criticality and potential impact.
  • Maintain situational awareness of the global threat landscape, including adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Support scenario planning and contribute to post-incident lessons-learned analysis.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of threat intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Create and maintain threat actor profiles.
  • Provide intelligence support during incident response and post-incident investigations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a relevant intelligence role
  • Bachelor’s degree in history, Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence Analysis, Criminal Justice, Regional Studies, or a related discipline; master’s degree strongly preferred.
  • English is the working language. German and other languages would be beneficial.
  • Experience working within a Regional Information Centre (RIC) and/or Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) environment.
  • Proven background in open-source intelligence (OSINT), geopolitical/security analysis, or law enforcement intelligence.
  • Solid understanding of hybrid threats, including cyber, physical, and reputational dimensions.
  • Proficiency in producing clear, concise, and tailored intelligence products such as alerts, forecasts, and briefings.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable intelligence.
  • Ability to correlate threats to specific corporate assets and recommend prioritisation measures.
  • Experience handling highly confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to rapidly changing threat environments and competing tasking priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
