Position Overview:

As a Command Electrical Engineer Advisor, you will coordinate and participate in the electrical discipline, managing the electrical engineering program for the 2nd Theater Signal Brigade. Responsibilities include project management for construction, installation, modification, and rehabilitation of telecommunication facilities, including power and light distribution, building configuration, site layout, air conditioning plans, and equipment placement. You will direct the use of complex testing and diagnostic equipment across Europe to resolve power issues.

You will determine requirements, prepare documentation, and instruct US Military Construction Organizations on facility design. You will evaluate equipment and facilities, review construction estimates, plans, and specifications for compliance, and monitor construction progress to ensure milestones are met and requirements are satisfied. Additionally, you will advise on the implementation of electrical power programs, including maintenance and repair of backup power systems, and attend relevant meetings to provide expert assistance.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must meet the E&T Level V requirements, recognized by German authorities or equivalent certification for foreign applicants.
• Driver's license class B is preferred.
• Language proficiency in English and German at level C1 is required.
