Overview
Nuventura has developed a new generation of electrical switchgear that is highly innovative and environmentally sustainable, which it now industrializes for scaling globally. While the company continues to develop new products with its R&D department, it now ramps up its production capability to meet growing demand for its already developed products.
While Nuventura's business model builds on licensing its technology to manufacturers around the globe, the company also supplies core components of the technology to such manufacturers. Additionally, Nuventura also manufactures full products for its home markets.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive testing of medium-voltage switchgear by performing routine, type, and factory acceptance tests (FAT), including dielectric, mechanical, leak, contact resistance, primary & secondary injection, relay testing, and partial discharge diagnostics.
- Commission, maintain, and service MV switchgear and protection systems both at Nuventura’s Berlin factory and on customer sites, ensuring reliable performance throughout the system lifecycle.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical faults in medium-voltage systems, applying a structured and safety-focused approach in factory and on-site environments.
- Ensure full compliance with safety standards, regulations, and internal procedures, actively contributing to a strong safety culture during testing, commissioning, and service activities.
- Document and communicate results clearly by preparing detailed test and service reports, providing on-site technical support during installation and system integration, and collaborating closely with engineering teams to continuously improve system reliability and performance.
Qualifications
- Hold a vocational qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field — or bring equivalent practical experience gained through extensive hands-on work.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience testing medium- or high-voltage electrical equipment (10 kV and above), such as MV switchgear, transformers, motors, or similar systems, and apply this experience confidently in factory and on-site environments.
- Actively perform testing, commissioning, or field service activities on MV switchgear, using structured methods and industry-standard tools (e.g. OMICRON, Megger, or equivalent).
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and test procedures accurately and translate them into safe, reliable testing and commissioning activities.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing, when documenting results, reporting issues, and collaborating with international customers and internal teams.

- Work safely and responsibly in electrical environments, consistently complying with occupational health, safety, and quality standards.
Additional preferences
- Have experience with protection relays, current and voltage transformers (CTs / PTs), circuit breakers, and interlocking systems.
- Apply strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
