As our new Electrical Engineer, you will join a dynamic team responsible for developing and designing power components for compressors, maintaining existing solutions, collaborating with the Automation Department, and participating in research and development from idea generation to implementation. You will also work on interdisciplinary projects, provide technical clarification, design solutions with Project and Sales Departments, and perform testing, maintenance, documentation, and bug fixes. The role includes opportunities to travel for troubleshooting and commissioning at client sites (10–20% travel).

What Will You Do?
  • Develop and design power components for compressors in industrial and metallurgical applications including coke oven gas, direct iron reduction, wastewater, flue gas, exhaust gas recirculation, mechanical vapor recompression.
  • Support ongoing development of electrical hardware, power components, and frequency converters
  • Collaborate with Automation, Project, and Sales Departments and customers on technical clarification and solution design
  • Participate in research and development for current and new products
  • Perform testing, maintenance, documentation, and bug fixes
  • Conduct troubleshooting and commissioning at client sites (10–20% travel)
  • Support interdisciplinary projects for current and new products
Your Experience Should Be...
  • Degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience in power electronics and frequency converters preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with hardware and software
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English for collaborating with international colleagues; German language skills are an asset
  • Willingness to travel internationally
