We are seeking to fill a new position for a Defence Sales Manager with our client in Germany.
This presents an exciting new opportunity to be part of a growing organisation. Using your defence and sales experience to generate growth from existing clients as well as look for new opportunities primarily in the defence market. This is an essential key role in the company's business, building on the growth in customer demands and our success in the market. The role will help an individual develop their sales career as well as offer a very interesting integral position within the business with an opportunity to make the role rewarding for a hardworking enthusiastic individual.
You should bring experience of defence and/or government use cases and/or experience selling to these key customers along with the personality, professionalism, flexibility and market knowledge to be effective. We would expect you to have some relevant experience in satellite communication and/or related information services for forces users, including where possible with specialist units and/or wider army units and/or some experience of new capabilities such as unscrewed platforms.
You will need to be able to operate independently and be able to spend time close to key customer organisations, whilst working with the rest of the German team in the Hamburg area and the wider Defence & Government team in the UK and Europe. We expect from you strong customer focus and commercial awareness, strong customer relationship skills by telephone, email and face to face are essential.
