To support this growth, we’re looking for an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Frankfurt.

In this exciting role, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of document control across multiple projects and clients. This includes ensuring compliance with company and client procedures, maintaining document integrity, and providing seamless support to project teams, clients, and suppliers.

As the Document Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining project document management systems (Aconex)
  • Planning, supervising, and recording document flow to and from all necessary parties, including clients, subcontractors, and project offices
  • Coordinate vendor documentation, drawing control, transmittals, and engineering deliverables
  • Audit document control registers and systems
  • Ensuring drawings and documents are registered with correct revision & details and issued within the requested time frame
  • Issuing project documentation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Daily management of the Document Control inbox
  • Act as the primary interface for document control activities with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely distribution of controlled documents
  • Support project teams with document-related queries and compliance requirements

You are an experienced Document Controller with the following qualifications and background:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in computerised and manual document control in an engineering environment.
  • Advanced experience using Aconex database
  • Strong ability to multitask across different clients, procedures, and databases
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, Word)
  • Highly organised with advanced time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to assist and provide support
  • Self-starter with strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
