To complement our DevOps Team in Troisdorf, we are searching for a DevOps Engineer / Software Build and Release Engineer (f / m / d) to support our DevOps activities.

Your responsibilities:

1. You decide about on-prem & cloud-based hosting and development environments.
2. You will create the software build and release packages for the customers and drive the implementation of CI / CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
3. You will simplify and communicate complex deployment architectures.
4. You will demonstrate strong ownership, urgency, and drive in all tasks.
5. You will work independently and hands-on with cutting-edge cloud technologies, particularly focusing on Microsoft Azure.
6. You will be responsible for writing, updating, and managing software installers to ensure smooth deployments.
7. You will collaborate closely with build engineers, development teams, and support teams, both internally and externally.
8. You will optimize automated build systems to streamline development processes.
9. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to maintain system integrity and performance.

Your Profile:

1. Degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent.
2. Many years of experience as DevOps Engineer or comparable.
3. Experience in build, release, and deployment on Microsoft technologies.
4. Proficient in programming with C#.NET and using build tools like MSBuild.
5. Familiarity with version control tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Git.
6. Proficiency in scripting languages including Batch and PowerShell.
7. Comfortable liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
8. Knowledge of monitoring systems and CI / CD pipeline setup.
9. Familiarity with Windows Installer (MSI) technology and packaging tools like WIX.
10. Ability to handle high pressure situations & multitasking.
11. Ability to communicate effectively with cross-cultural teams spanning globally.
12. Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
