With Porsche Engineering Romania, we are always actively involved in the projects that you are going to work on, making us the ideal partner. We are currently looking for a DevOps engineer to join the team in Romania for working together with the software engineers on implementing various tasks in projects related to DevOps. In this role, you will collaborate with team members and customers to build complex Continuous Integration systems and contribute with our engineers in the build automation effort. As a team member, you will have to combine software engineering skills with research and innovation skills. We offer the possibility to be responsible for your own topics and drive them to completion together with local and remote colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Raising awareness for the DevOps methodology among management and colleagues
- Create, maintain, update and monitor the build environments for various projects running under Windows, Linux
- Developing and improving build tools
- Integrating automated tests in the build environments and generating of test reports
- Offering support for developers regarding the build systems and build tools
- Developing and supporting continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborating with international project teams
Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent field of study
- You have at least 4+ years of experience with DevOps tools
- You have knowledge of Python, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages
- You have a strong understanding of DevOps practices and how they improve software development efficiency
- You have hands-on experience in continuous integration (CI/CD) environments, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- You have worked with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- You are familiar with cloud platforms, including Azure or AWS
- You have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Pulumi
- You have experience in Configuration as Code (CaC) tools, including Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- You have knowledge of monitoring and observability tools, such as Grafana and Kibana
- You speak English fluently; knowledge of German is considered a plus
- You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
- You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
