Overview
For our customer from Hamburg wer are looking for a Data Engineer (m / f / d) via remote.
Responsibilities
- Refactor existing datasets and build new, high-quality datasets.
- Design and implement data models using Cube.js for interactive, web-based dashboards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver datasets that support both analytical and operational use cases.
- Collaborate with data platform teams to ensure alignment with internal infrastructure, data protection, and privacy regulations.
What You Bring
- Strong experience with Python, dbt, git, Apache Airflow, AWS Athena, QuickSight, Cube.js.
- Proven ability to optimize data models and pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers.
- Familiarity with collaborating with data platform teams to integrate solutions into broader infrastructure.
- Bonus : Experience using large language models (LLMs) for intelligent text classification, metadata enrichment, content tagging, or automated data labeling.
