A leading US Investment Bank is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst & Associate into its DACH coverage team in Frankfurt.

This is a well-established team that is ambitiously growing its platform thanks to an enviable pipeline across Industrials, TMT, Healthcare and Consumer through its status as a specialist in the DACH region to Institutional Sponsors. The group is known for maintaining both a high performing and laid back environment that is well balanced as well as entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the execution and origination of high-profile M&A transactions across a wide range of sectors
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, pitch books, and client presentations
• Support senior bankers in the origination and execution of transactions
• Conduct in-depth industry, company, and market research to support strategic insights
• Engage directly with clients, investors, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• 1+ years of full-time experience in M&A from a Tier 1 Investment Bank
• Generalist Sector expertise is sufficient
• Strong technical skills, including financial modeling and valuation (DCF, LBO, Comps, etc.)
• Exceptional academic background from a top-tier university or business school
• Professionally fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) – mandatory
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a demanding and intellectually rigorous environment
