About the role :

We are looking to hire an experienced Customer Success Manager based in Germany who will be responsible for maintaining and expanding Pentera’s relationship with a portfolio of customers for the DACH region.

The ideal candidate would be experienced in Customer Success Management in the Cyber Security Industry, with a strong technical and commercial orientation and the ability to tailor solutions for various scenarios.

Passionate about delivering a great customer experience and well-versed in handling complex customer needs.

A positive and energetic person with the hunger to grow business and make an impact at an organization set on becoming the number one player in the Security Risk Validation space.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your accounts.
  • Representing the company at customer accounts and voicing customers’ needs internally, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Establish productive and close relationships with key stakeholders at customer accounts, maintaining regular meetings (mainly on-site) with customers.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Seek growth and sales opportunities within the portfolio of accounts.
  • Take ownership of commercial activities with all assigned accounts.
  • Develop a technical understanding of Pentera's product.
  • Maintain close collaboration with our Sales team and Technical roles, facilitating opportunities while keeping our clients highly engaged.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly / quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage ad-hoc queries from customer accounts.
  • Maintain all information about customer activity within the CRM platform.
  • Travel frequently to meetings with targeted customer accounts in the DACH region.

Requirements :

  • Languages : Native German, High-level English – required
  • Location : Based in Germany – required
  • Customer Success Experience : 4+ years as a Customer Success Manager in a global organization, managing international accounts – must-have
  • Cybersecurity Background : Prior experience in a cybersecurity company, preferably a startup environment – must-have
  • Renewals & Relationship Management : Strong hands-on experience managing renewals and building long-term customer relationships – must-have
  • Stakeholder Management : Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels, including executive and C-level
  • Technical & Analytical Skills : Strong technical aptitude, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Work Style : Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
